What this site stores about you, why, and for how long.
Who runs this site
monprocess.org is run by Prof. Dr. Purev-Ochir Togtokhbaatar, Raw Material Process Engineering, German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology (GMIT). Questions: purevochir@gmit.edu.mn.
Why an account is needed
The lectures are teaching material for GMIT students, so they open only for people signed in with a @gmit.edu.mn address.
What is stored
- Your name, GMIT e-mail address, username and an encrypted password.
- The date and time of every sign-in.
- Which lecture you open and when. Opening the same lecture again within 30 minutes is not counted twice.
Lecture tick-marks, quiz answers and quiz scores are kept in your own browser only. They are never sent to the server and nobody else can see them.
Who can see it
Only the lecturer and the site administrator, on the Lecture statistics screen. Nothing is shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising.
How long it is kept
For the duration of the course and one semester afterwards, then deleted. Write to the address above if you want your account and its records removed sooner.
Cookies
WordPress sets a sign-in cookie when you sign in, and a preference cookie if you tick “keep me signed in”. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Other services
